1. Compeed Blister Plasters
Compeed is at the top of my list of travel essentials! They are great to put on if wearing new shoes to prevent blisters, and are amazing at protecting and healing blisters. These were an absolute life saver on my trip to Rome and I will never travel without them again! I always prefer to buy these before I travel as they come in light, compact packaging so take up no space.
2. Plastic travel bottles
Using these empty refillable bottles can be so much cheaper than buying travel-size toiletries. I use these 100ml ones which I really like as they come with funnels and labels, making it easy to decanter toiletries into them and distinguish one from another. I have been using these for a few months and have had no spills or leaks from them!
3. Neck pillow
A good neck pillow is a great investment to get comfortable and prevent neck pain when travelling. I always sleep so much better when using a neck pillow than going without one. I love this one as it wraps all the way around the neck as opposed to just sitting at the back of the neck.
4. Fjallraven Bag
I use a Fjallraven 13L backpack for all of my flights. It is the perfect size for the small personal bag on Ryanair flights, fits SO much in, and is super durable. Thanks to this bag, I am able to take short trips without paying for any extra hand luggage or any check in bags, keeping my flights cheap! I have been using mine for months now and it is still in perfect condition!
5. Compression Packing Cubes
Packing cubes are a great investment if you fly with budget airlines which only allow you to have a small personal item or a small suitcase for hand luggage. These compression packing cubes save so much space, allowing you to save more on flights by only using hand luggage!
6. Travel Adapter
This is one of the most important things to take with you when travelling internationally. Its always good to take more than one in case of breaks, or if you need to plug in multiple devices.
7. Power Bank
Power banks are great for days or nights out when travelling if you won’t have access to a plug socket. This one is my favourite as it is super fast charging cable and lasts for multiple full charges!
